My name is Jake Wigham, a Tailor hailing from Carlisle, Cumbria,

now living and working in London.

I’ve always had a passion for vintage clothing and youth subcultures. Following a stint bricklaying, I went to art school at 21 for one year and was subsequently accepted onto the Bespoke Tailoring Degree at the London College of Fashion, so I made the move from Carlisle to the big smoke. I spent the three years of my degree studying the tailoring styles of post-war youth cultures,

namely Suedehead and Ivy Style.

After university, I apprenticed in trouser-making, which I’ve been freelancing in for around 3 years. Work came to a standstill due to the pandemic, so I used my spare time to develop the styles and methods I’d started in my degree, finally taking the plunge and launching my own made to order tailoring company - focusing exclusively on 50s and 60s Ivy League style.

I’m thrilled to be launching my first line of button-down shirts this November and I will soon be following those up with varying collar styles, trousers, and unstructured jackets, all cut and crafted solely by me.

And there’s lots more in the pipeline for 2021!
